Srinagar, June 28 (KNO ): Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) has expressed serious concern over the attempt by some unknown person to barge into the house of Former PCC President Peerzada Mohd Syed at his native place Damhal Khushipora. The party as per a statement issue to KNO urged upon the police higher ups to ascertain the identity of the persons, as that help in exposing the motive behind this incident. The JKPCC spokesperson expressed serious concern over the attempts by some unknown persons to barge into the house of senior Congress leader, former PCC President Peerzada Mohd Sayeed at Damhal Khushipora residence during the intervening night of 27/28th June, seeking thorough probe into the incident. The alert CRPF Jawans deployed at the residence of Peerzada foiled the attempt and arrested one person, who has reportedly been lodged in PS Achabal for interrogation, but the identity of the said person was yet to be disclosed, spokesperson said. He urged upon the higher ups in Police Department to investigate into the matter to unearth the conspiracy behind the attempts to break security of Peerzada’s house, which is matter of serious concern, needs to be probed inorder to ensure that no untoward incident takes place in future. Congress party demanded immediate probe into the incident and urge upon the Government to ensure adequate security to Peerzada Mohd. Sayeed, Spokesperson added.(KNO)
